Legal Media Services
In addition to our court reporting services, Behmke has a comprehensive list of other legal media services such as streaming audio and video conferencing.
Video conferencing is a convenient means of communicating during the discovery process when both parties cannot be physically present in the same location. Behmke has state-of-the-art video conferencing services in our office. We can also arrange for video conferencing and internet video conferencing at other locations anywhere in the world.
Benefits of video conferencing?
More flexible scheduling
Reduced travel time
Cost efficiency
Increase in billable hours
Less fatigue from travel

Tips for a successful video conference:
Try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the scheduled start time. This will give you some time to help familiarize yourself with the services and what to expect. Be aware that there is a slight transmission delay of about 0.5-second. Avoid wearing clothing with prints, patterns and stripes. Pastel colors are preferred over white, which may cause a glare effect to other viewers. White is okay if something dark is worn over top to add contrast. Avoid wearing red as it may give a “bleeding” effect on the screen for other viewers.
Behmke also can take video depositions, either in our office or on location. Our video deposition process includes:
- Broadcast-quality 3-chip light sensitive cameras with 16-1 zoom lens
- Professional backdrops
- Professional lighting
- Lavalier microphones for counsel
- CLVS-trained professionals
- Editing and courtroom playback
- Video to CD/DVD ROM
- Video/transcript synchronization
- Post production and real time linkage
- Settlement videos
- Day-in-the-Life videos
- Site surveys
- Trial presentation equipment rental
Legal videography is available at our office. For depositions that are scheduled off site we will send a legal videographer to the designated location.
Audio streaming services are becoming increasingly more popular as schedules become more crowded. Audio streaming allows multiple parties to participate in meetings at multiple locations in real time.
Video streaming is another way for our clients to be more efficient with their time and resources. Behmke’s use of Internet streaming video allows parties in multiple locations to interact as if they were in the same room, or to participate in a deposition from a remote location.
Video depositions are captured using the latest digital equipment. This video digitization allows for easy storage, transfer and editing.
Transcript streaming makes it possible for several parties in various locations to share information and interact in real time. Behmke has conference rooms that are available to our clients should they need a place to meet or to review trial transcripts.
If you need to record an expert witness testimony, Behmke has both audio and video recording capabilities. Witness recording can be done at our office or at a location of your choosing. Our technicians are always available to record either at our office or yours.
We have several Certified Legal Video Specialists on staff to record video depositions. Having a CLVS record your depositions is one more way to ensure you will get a broadcast-quality video record. All of our technicians use state-of-the-art digital equipment, and each video is synchronized with transcript production.
Behmke can assist you with your trial presentation. We have broadcast-quality video production capabilities in-house and can assist you with the visual and audio component of your courtroom presentation.
Behmke has password protected digital repositories for storing images that are always available should you need them. Digitizing photos for use in the repositories is a service available to all of our clients.
If you need in-trial technicians and legal support services, Behmke can offer both legal services and equipment rentals as a one-stop offering.
